I have to admit today has been a down day. I have tried many things to raise my spirits which hasn't been that easy. The Devil is desperate to take control of my life. I have to fight and somedays like today it is a real struggle. I was able to spend an hour or so listening and worshipping God this evening and tonight I received this email from a Devotional email I received. This was the message.
"And he [Abram] believed in (trusted in, relied on, remained steadfast to) to Lord, and He counted it to him as righteous (right standing with God)."
-Genesis 15:6
Spending time with God keeps you stable, steadfast, and calm. God says He "will strengthen and harden you to difficulties" (Isaiah 41:10).
When your faith is fed daily by God's presence, the devil can't control you, because you don't get easily upset.
Being filled with God's truth makes it easier to live the life God has for you. Let God be your anchor in the midst of the raging waves of circumstances. Remain steadfast in God.
